Why Angel & Sage
For years I watched women come through the healthcare system feeling like a number on a chart. A weight. A BMI. A before and after photo waiting to happen.
When I founded the company in 2017, I started asking a different question. Not how much weight can she lose, but how does she actually feel in her body?
That question got personal fast. I knew enough as a nurse to know something was off, even when nothing showed up as "wrong" in my lab work. So I started researching. Testing. Paying attention to my own body the way I'd ask any patient to.
The difference I feel after more than a year on this journey is something I want every woman to have access to. Not through promises. Through real information from someone who has actually lived it.
That's what Angel & Sage is built on.
Angel is care. No judgment. No shame. No scale obsessed finish line.
Sage is wisdom. It's my 26 years of nursing background, my research, and my experience. All explained like I'm sitting across from you.
You deserve to feel helped, resourceful, and better in your body. Not thinner. Not fixed. Just like yourself again.
I'm not here to sell you a transformation. I'm here to walk with you through one.
Meet Angela
Twenty six years as a nurse. Taking care of people is not just my career. It is something I genuinely love, and something I will keep doing in some form for the rest of my life.
For most of those years, I also struggled with my weight. I tried the diets. I tried changing my eating habits over and over. I know what it feels like to work hard at something and still not see it stick. I also know the criticism that comes with struggling in front of other people, especially as a woman. That part never gets talked about enough.
My first experience with peptides was back in 2015, right before I started my original business. Back then it was just HCG and a little vitamin B12. I lost a lot of weight, but it eventually came back, the way it often does when you are only changing one piece of the puzzle.
Recently that changed. And for the first time, the weight is staying off.
I am close to retirement age now. I am married, I have three children and seven grandchildren, and family is everything to me. I love to travel, and my goal is to step away from my traditional nursing job so I can run Angel & Sage Wellness full time and spend more of my days with the people I love most.
This business is not a side project for me. It is the next chapter, built on twenty six years of caring for people and my own real, lived experience of what it takes to feel like yourself again.
